Austin is filled with many natural hot spots like the three acres long Barton Springs pool! We also have another fun natural spring to cool off at and is called  Hamilton Pool Preserve, its a scenic swimming grotto, found in a canyon beneath a 50-foot waterfall. Another spot to take in the amazing views of Austin is the 360 Overlook, which is a large rock face that peers over the iconic 360 Bridge and shimmering waters of Lake Austin.

Austin has a amazing food culture that is for sure to keep your belly full and your taste buds happy. We have a wide variety of different foods ranging from Sushi to good ol fashion Texas BBQ! Some of the local favorites to get your TEX Mex fix in is Matts El Rancho where they keep the margaritas flowing and the Fajitas sizzling. Franklins BBQ is so good even when President Obama had to swing by and try it him self last time he was in town. The most well known university Austin has to offer is the University of Texas. a public research university with roughly 50,000 students, with a city that bleeds burnt orange and UT Longhorn school pride. We also have other amazing private colleges like St. Edward’s University, Huston-Tillotson University and Concordia University! We also have 16 high schools, 18 middle schools, and 84 elementary schools for kids of all ages.
